At Alphatech we offer a no retrieve, no charge policy. We have software which enables us to make retrieval attempts on drives with limited damage. If the damage is more sever the we outsource it to a company which we´ve used for years and have a high recovery rate. All there work is related to data retrieval and have premises equipt with a dry room labs to prevent further damage to media.
The first level service would be a straight forward rebuild, where there is no physical media damage to the platters (ie no clunking from a drive etc). A 60% success rate is normal and should take around 2-3 days. Level one service starts from £253 ex VAT
The second level allows for more severe electronic or mechanical damage. Before attempting full recovery using this method, we would diagnose the problem and provide you with a full listing of recoverable files, together with a quote to retrieve this data (there is no obligation to continue after you have recieved a list of recoverable files). This price starts from £390ex VAT and depends on the level of work involved. The second level supports a success rate of over 95%.
